Saturday, May 14, 2022, in the hall of Prof. Abdulaziz Mukhaimer, Faculty of Commerce held a session entitled " interest rates and exchange rate in light of international changes."

Prof. Mohammad Mahmoud Atwa - Professor of Economics and former Dean of the faculty, Prof. Hisham Handal Abdel-Baqi - Professor and Head of the Economics Department, and Dr. Al-Moatasem Billah Mustafa Al-Sayed - Lecturer in the Department of Economics at the Faculty of Law. The session was moderated by Prof. Tarek Mostafa Ghalwash - Professor of Economics and Dean of the faculty.

The session focused on the relationship of interest rates to exchange rates and explained how inflation as a global phenomenon that affects all countries of the world. The speakers emphasized that Egypt has a great opportunity to advance in light of the current international changes by paying attention to industry and agriculture, especially in the production of exportable goods
