The role of the Faculty of Commerce at Mansoura University has expanded beyond its traditional functions to include providing services through active engagement with the surrounding community and environment. This is evident in the fact that its mission is no longer limited to education and scientific research alone; rather, the Faculty has become a destination for scholars, thinkers, researchers, and students, which has enhanced its standing among other faculties and established it as a model to be emulated within the surrounding community.
Accordingly, the community has assumed an important and active role in highlighting and activating this sector as the third pillar of the university—alongside education and scientific research—both at the university level in general and within the Faculty of Commerce in particular. This has enabled the Faculty to play an effective role in benefiting from mutual community participation, which is considered one of the key pillars that facilitate continuous training and provide employment opportunities for its graduates.
This is achieved through the active participation of the Faculty’s members and is organized by the sector through seminars, workshops, and the annual employment forum for the Faculty’s students. In this way, students are effectively prepared for professional life and the demands of the labor market.
