In the presence of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi, Vice President of the University for Education and Students, Prof. Dr. Tariq Ghallush, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Prof. Hafez Al-Ghandour, Head of the Commerce Syndicate, Prof. Dr. Nader Hamed, Vice President of Palestine University, directors and representatives of the security, military and oversight agencies And members of the House of Representatives and Senate, former deans, deans and vice deans of various colleges.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of the University, greeted the founders of the college, who built this scientific entity, which we celebrate today the fifty years of its founding, and who gave it their experiences and the important tasks they carried out. One of its results was that the Faculty of Commerce placed Mansoura University in the ranks of Advanced Colleges of Commerce, where the college was established pursuant to the decision of the Deputy Prime Minister for Culture and Information No. 184 of 1973, studies began in the academic year 73/74.
He also saluted all those who were absent from today's celebration of scholars and scientific figures, and those who continued the day and night until they completed the procession for the golden jubilee of the college, but their memory will remain fragrant between us.
Pointing out that the Faculty of Commerce included in its ranks throughout its history many symbols of science that led the Enlightenment movement in its local and regional surroundings, generation after generation that deserves to be known by the current generation.
He also expressed his hope that this celebration would be a new starting point towards the future, and that the college youth would present their vision in their current reality for the advancement of the college and its participation in solving societal issues.
He added that the celebration of the golden jubilee of the College of Commerce expresses a clear and explicit recognition of the beauty of the first generation on whose shoulders this college was founded, and had it not been for their solid will, this scientific edifice would not have reached what it has reached, so this will is imposed on the current generation and subsequent generations of researchers and scientists. The need for the administration of the college to bear them towards the promising and bright future, God willing, for our beloved Egypt, under the leadership of His Excellency Mr. / President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
He added that the college has been working hard to obtain a distinguished and prestigious place in the fields of education, scientific research, community service, and striving towards excellence and quality over fifty years.
He also saluted all successive administrations and leaders of the college who spared no effort or time in order to raise its status through a long journey of hard work to create this lofty scientific edifice that we see today.
Prof. Dr. Nader Hamed, Vice President of the University of Palestine, expressed his pride in being one of the graduates of the Faculty of Commerce at Mansoura University in entrepreneurship, and his pride in being present in front of his professors, the scientific figures at the college. He also conveyed the greetings of the Palestinian people and their wishes to the Egyptian people for all the best under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
Prof. Dr. Tariq Ghallush, Dean of the Faculty, indicated that the golden jubilee of the Faculty and the passage of fifty years mean a lot, a full record of achievements and giving that all generations are proud of as a result of the effort and work of those who preceded us since the founding of the Faculty in 1973 until the dream became a reality and the Faculty became a beacon of knowledge in the economy working to build values And the human being, and the college is proud of its children who occupied distinguished positions and its professors who enriched science inside and outside Egypt. They worked with great effort to build new generations armed with science to build our beloved Egypt.
